Working with Arun District Council and Amazon, Hanbury have secured detailed planning permission at Phase 2 Oldlands Farm, an allocated employment site, to provide a state-of-the art Amazon Logistics Facility, following an Officer’s Recommendation for Approval to grant planning permission at the recent Arun District Council Planning Committee.
The 17.5-acre site will provide 100,000 sq ft of warehouse accommodation, a 512-space, multi-storey Van Parking Deck, with full EV charging provision, as well as the largest living ‘green-wall’ on the south coast.
The site currently sits within the Flood Plain and will undergo a major cut and fill earthworks operation, in order to raise the platform level of the development site, whilst providing compensatory flood storage on adjacent land, prior to the main construction works. Works are expected to commence in Spring next year.
